Returns

We want you to love your sofa. If something isn't right, here's how cancellations and returns work. These match our Terms of Service.

Cancelling your order

In-stock items: you can cancel for a full refund, less any payment transaction fees, as long as your order hasn't left our warehouse. In-stock orders can go out within 24 hours, so let us know quickly. Once your order has been dispatched, it's treated as a return.

Made-to-order items: you can cancel within 10 days of placing your order for a full refund, less any payment transaction fees. After 10 days, production has started and materials have been ordered, so we can't refund the order.

Change-of-mind returns

You can request a return on in-stock items within 15 days of delivery.

• A 20% restocking fee applies.
• A collection fee applies.
• Delivery fees aren't refunded.

Items need to be in new condition, not marked, damaged or soiled, and in their original packaging. If you no longer have the packaging, a repackaging fee may apply and collection may take a little longer while we arrange it.

Made-to-order items

Made-to-order pieces are made specifically for you, so we can't accept change-of-mind returns on them. If there's a chance we can rehome the piece, we'll do our best to work something out with you.

Faulty or damaged items

None of the above affects your rights if something is faulty. If your order arrives damaged or develops a fault, email info@bananahome.com.au with your order number and photos of the whole product, the problem and the label underneath, and we'll sort it out.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
